Black Friday Deals for Toolmongers
The Day is upon us. Toolmongers are, of course, aware that not all Black Friday “blowout specials” are actually special. Nevertheless, it’s still nice to have access to the Thanksgiving weekend/Black Friday sales on tools, home improvement, and other shop gear.
We weeded through dozens of tool retailers, from the corner big boxes to the regional chains, and gathered links for a quick path to some of the best weekend specials:
For the stay-at-home customer:

If we overlooked any weekend sales that should be here, feel free to share in comments. Happy shopping! And good luck out there. Stay safe.

Thanks guys!! My Makita cordless drill died in Sandy. hopefully i can get something to replace her
Look for even more deals next week, usually the first tool ad in December is the big one. Also good deals in the “outlet” sections of online stores.
CYBER Monday! The two big names in woodworking evidently don’t understand that this is the equivalent to Black Friday in the stores. Rockler had two “WEB BUSTERS!” that are the same lame items as always, the Rockler dovetail jig and the glue brush. Woodcraft only had a coupon for 10 bucks off if you spend 25 bucks or more. Really? I am beside my self with excitement……
Woodcraft came up with their ad a few minutes after this post. Some good deals but nothing outstanding. They show a Rikon VS Mini lathe for 97 bucks, but when you click on it you see an ad for a pen turning tool set for 79 bucks…..Note to Woodcraft, Get the ad out early and proof it!
@ gary z – Um, how about the 25% off coupon Rockler put in all their mailers?
The coupons are a good deal, to use for things that are not normally on sale. You can also use the Smart phone and have it scanned from the phone directly.

After $25 and $5 with Coupon Code: “CMHD2012”
it is around $180 shipped.
This set has two 3.0 AH 20V batteries!
