Dealmonger: Wolverine Steel Toes For $64
We reviewed the more upscale Wolverine boots a while back — and while we love ’em, we’re not always loaded enough to shell out over $100 for boots. Here’s a more cost-effective option: a similar pair (albeit with a slightly different design and in the 6″ model) for just $64.
They’re marked down from $85 at Northern Tool right now, and our own experience (bolstered by Google) shows normal pricing ranges anywhere from $83 to around $100.
Of course, there are also cheaper off-brand options. Sean swore by Wal-Mart’s no-name $25 boots for years. (He wore a similar black pair for at least two years around the time I met him.) But if I had the cash I’d be tempted to lay down a little more of it for a boot that’s likely more comfortable from the start.

Nice boots if your size 11.
I’ve got a 5 year old pair that aren’t the prettiest things but still hold up. I tried a new pair and the problem I found was that the quick lace clips at the top are junk metal and on first use, broke off.
I put my old Durashock insoles in a pair of the $25-dollar knockoffs. They’re not bad at all.
they have other sizes -> just click on work boots -> sort by price…
some are on backorder though…shipping, i think, is high…
I’ve had great luck with Wolverine boots, I buy them when they’re on sale at the local Southern States.
