The RAS900 is a 26″ L x 16.5″ W portable router table that Skil is betting will save crafters a bunch of space and a bit of cash. Basically, the newest system for Skil is a combination of old favorites in a newer form factor.

The new rig features folding table legs, a T-slot fence guide, and quick clamp router system which have become pretty standard fare for bench tops of late. The RAS900 goes a little further with accessory storage boxes, a starter pin/guard combo for curved pieces, and a bit height gauge.

It’s a solid system that would most likely find itself a little redundant in a hardcore shop, but fits in like a champ at a work site or with a beginner-to-intermediate level crafter who’s looking for a lot of function for around $150.

This might be ok for a first project or extremely new hobbiest. What you will find is that a table this size is really only good for very small projects.
