Adjustable Counter Sink Boring Bit
Rather than have a set of counter sink bits that may not be the exact size you need, you could replace them with one adjustable countersink boring bit. Amana’s Di-Count fits over drill bits sized 3/32″ to 9/32″ to drill counter sunk holes for wood screws sized #2 to #18.
The 2-wing carbide-tipped bit will countersink screws up to 7/16″ deep. The countersink bit measures 1-1/4″ long and uses two screws to clamp around the pilot bit. Before shipping charges take a bite out of your wallet, you’ll pay about $23 for the Di-Count adjustable countersink boring bit.

I use these everyday in my shop……I use the cheapo ones form Harbour Freight….. they work great, and if they break or get hot once or twice, i simply throw them away…

i didnt know these existed at all, let alone a HF version. sweet.
That looks a lot better than keeping a whole set of counter sink bits.
Help me understand how it centers drills of various sizes with only two screws.
It makes the same size conterbore for the diff drill sizes……again go with a set for $5-$8

I am looking for a clamp on 2 1/8″ flat bottom countersink bit to fit over a 5/8″ ships auger bit.
I have an old one I found on my job and it has seen better days. No manufacturer name but it is made in the USA
Any tips on where I could look would be greatly appreciated
