The ShelterLogic Garage Screen installs across your open garage bay door to allow breezes and more light into your garage. While I probably wouldn’t host a party like the good people in the photo, more than once has a neighborhood dog wandered up to me while I’ve been under the car. It installs with a Velcro-like tabs, and tie-up storage allows the garage door to open and close with it installed. The kit shown includes the poly screen, pet door, tie-backs and roll-up pipe.

The Garage Screen is available in widths for both single and double garage doors, roughly $80 and $120 respectively.

Most of my friends smoke. At nearly every party we’ve been to lately, we’ve been relegated to the garage. We’ve had some really good times out there!

How would this fix your “curious” dog problem if it comes with a built in doggy-door?

These are (or at least were) very common in Rochester, NY. People would often use their garages as summer rooms–especially facilitated by most garages having a normal door adjacent to the garage door.

Would have loved this at my grandmother’s house growing up. More than one BBQ was relegated to various indoor locations when the rains decided to come down. The garage with the door open was often the best choice since it was typically a good 10 degrees cooler than the house.

I’m wondering about getting one of these for the new ExhibitShop. It’s a stand-alone 25 by 40 shop with a 9 x 10 sliding door at one end. This would let me open it up and enjoy the breeze. Probably won’t keep out the wild turkeys, though.
