EDMBG Products Direct is selling this pair of knee pads for $1.80.  They claim they’re good for carpentry, paintball, or, you know, whatever — which leads us to ask, what makes a set of knee pads useful for carpentry?  Anyway, it’s a darn cheap price even if they do suck.

Allegedly Monica Lewinsky bought them all. 😉

Hmmm, the last sentence is where good money goes after bad. I have bad knees and if knee pads suck, I don’t want them. How many sucky things have I, we, bought because it was cheap? That is the problem with this country. We buy what sucks, made badly, made in china, disposable. Our garbage is overflowing with cheap, disposable, made somewhere else crap. Yes, they may be cheap but my knees will let me know if it was worth it at the end of the day. Buy what lasts, spend a little extra, buy local, buy ‘made in the usa’ now more than ever. You’ll respect yourself more than you could ever imagine.

Carpenters get on their knees sometimes, too. I wrecked my knees not wearing ’em. And they save your britches.
