Always Have The Right Knob For The Job

Simple hardware like the right-sized knobs can be difficult to find when you need them, and you can pay a whole lot more that you’d think proper once you do. Snap-Lock knobs are a cheap and versatile solution. They allow you to assemble your own custom knobs using the nut or bolt of your choice so you don’t have to keep a dozen different sizes on hand.
The manufacturer molds the knobs with a hex hole that accepts standard hex nuts or bolts. Just push the appropriate fastener into the Snap-Lock knob and it’ll lock into position securely.
The Snap-Lock knobs are available in star knob, T-knob, and 3-prong knob styles. Star knobs fit 1/4″, 5/16″, and 3/8″ imperial thread sizes or M6, M8, and M10 metric thread sizes, while T-knobs and 3-prong knobs fit only a smaller subset of those sizes. Pricing starts at about a buck a knob or around $8 for a ten-pack.
