My old Dee Zee bed box is getting worn out and I can’t find any parts for it, so I’ve been shopping around for a replacement box.  The Montezuma LA400 looks like a good option for the organized Toolmonger who needs to carry tools in or on his vehicle to perform his job.

The box features storage areas designed for certain types of tools:  pegs to hang combination wrenches up to 1-1/4″ or 32mm (up to three wrenches per peg); holes for screwdrivers or nutdrivers; and storage areas for ratchets, extensions, and 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2″ drive sockets.

There are also open compartments for tools of your choice.  Montezuma makes the box from sixteen-gauge steel with fully welded seals and a nice powder-coated finish, plus an assist cylinder to open the lid.

The Montezuma LA400 sells for about $750 and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
