I’m a sucker for a solid handcrafted table, and this fine craftsmanship from reader Jasony goes above and beyond. It’s deceptively simple but if you look closely behind that simplicity this table packs a well-designed wallop.
The side table is a great project to take on because you can accomplish it in any number of ways, and all of them are correct. Jasony decided to go with some beautiful inlay on the tabletop which gives it a clean and elegant look. The legs don’t attach directly to the top but to side pieces, making what could be a standard fitting very interesting.
Then for good measure we’re guessing he stained the side pieces light and everything else dark. It’s a great piece and we hope to see more of Jasony’s work posted up to the pool.
