Moisture in your house is an invitation for mold and mildew.  Having dealt with these unwelcome guests before, I’m happy to find a way to kick ’em out without calling in a professional cleaning team — SporiClean’s “green” enzyme formula will actually eat up that mold and mildew and provide a protective barrier that’s safe for your family and pets.

Multipurpose SporiClean can also take care of bedbugs, and it serves as a general cleaning solution.  It’ll even clean slow drains by breaking down fats, hair, oils, and sludge, so give it a try before you break out that snake or pour harsh chemicals down the drain.

Street pricing is about $32 per concentrated quart — that’ll make eight to sixteen gallons of solution.

The cynic in me is always leery of products like this. The wording on the package just shouts out late night tv ad.

Anyway, the MSDS sure was no help at all, see here:

OK, seems everybody in Kalifornia is paranoid about black mold. Does this stuff work on black mold, or if not, what does?

  4. Mike47 – I checked on the site again and there is black mold is not specifically mentioned, mold is, but not black mold. There is a toll free number at the bottom of their web page if you want to ask them.

Lump me in with the skeptics. For hurricane cleanup (including houses with up to 5′ of water), we used 1 part bleach, 3 parts water (plus a dash of soap) for the studs and 1 part bleach 1 part water (plus a dash of soap) for the inside of exterior walls. Come back in a day or two, mold ‘b gone!

Thanks, Shopmonger, people forget that just because (so-called) common chemicals have always been around, that they are either weak or ineffective.

Bleach, vinegar, and ammonia are three great examples, each of which need only to be used in fairly weak concentrations to be effective.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many so called “experts” can blow out such meaningless hot air and empty statements on a product that they have never tested, tried or even called the owner to discuss… but… they will all chime in and shout their ignorant statements! We have cleaned more infectious bacteria and moldy dwellings than perhaps all of you grouped together. We have years of hands-on experience with SporiCLEAN as the most effective and (post-cleaning clearance tests) than anyone. SporiCLEAN is the #1 mold cleaner in the market. All mold, all bacteria, all virus germs are made of “Protein” matter – but of course you loud speakers already knew that… right??? Not a chance!!!
SporiCLEAN contains sufficient amounts of the Protease Enzymes that have one and only one significant function… to Dislodge, Break Down, and Emulsify protein matter. END OF STORY! Please take a moment and test, read, or contact the owner before you spill such meaningless garble…
READ THE LABEL – all of you that tout BLEACH. It is POISON – if you choose poison that is your choice! SporiCLEAN has never failed any FEMA re-occupancy inspection since hurricane Katrina. Bleach fails day in and day out. It simply does not kill mold – it only removes or burns away the surface foliage… and the remaining WATER feeds the hyphae (mold roots) and that’s how and why they re-grow… but you must already know also… I’m sure!! Not a chance! Too much poisonous bleach clouding up your brain cells!!
Before there were chemicals (for you geniuses) there were enzymes… in fact Life would not exist without enzymes. So please do not speak about things that you know nothing about. If you want to be positive about how to hygienically clean any washable surface… use SporiCLEAN. It was designed and formulated to provide exactly that… thorough cleaning each time every time! Thank you for your review…

I need to know DOES it WORK on LEATHER and is it safe for LEATHER? Such as shoes, purses, chairs? My basement got very damp (clogged gutters) while away on vacation and we came home to all my shoes and purses as well as a chair covered in mold. Will this work to kill and remove it from these items?
