The damned auto-refresh keeps reseting the podcast! WTF?
    Come on guys….

  2. _Jon says:

With regard to the topic of tool safety and tools bucking or kicking – I don’t know if people think about a tool doing anything other than what they are expecting. So when it does something like bind or kick, they are unprepared for it. Lots of documentation is available for how to use a tool correctly or what you can do with a tool. But – other than the YouTube videos you suggest we [not] search for – the manufacturer rarely publishes “how to’s” of what could go wrong or how to prepare for or how to handle an unexpected situation. That would be useful documentation or training as well.

I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, so I don’t know if this was mentioned but that was a classy way to end the discussion about a certain shop photo. Hopefully everyone can get back to normal and the discussions can go back to the normal tone.

    Whats with the auto refresh?

  5. tj says:

seriously, i cant find the bit of code on your site that causes the refresh and it keeps interrupting my browsing of your blog. Its the only complaint i have with your site but when it comes to the One Beer Projects, its a big one. Been having to dl them or listen to them with my qt plugin in order to hear any of the long ones whole. please at least give us the option to turn it off or just tell us what it is that makes it refresh so i can code monkey it to not muck with my computer at least so i can make comments (like this one) uninterrupted.

I sub to the podcast via iTunes and this one seemed to end mid-sentence. Anyone else encounter that?

  9. o1d_dude says:

My version of the podcast #50 is truncated as well.

Actually I was back here looking to see if a new and complete version was available.

  10. o1d_dude says:

Downloading podcast #50 manually via the “Download Podcast” button above gave me the full length podcast that my podcatching software didn’t.

    I’m happy now.

  11. Kurt says:

Yeah, I just double checked. My iTunes sub gave me a version that’s 38 mins long and this one is 49 mins long. I’m off to listen to the last 11 minutes. Chuck. Sean. You guys might want to look into what was upped to the iTunes store.

  12. Zathrus says:

I got the full 49 min podcast from iTunes. You guys may want to check your downloads to see if it was interrupted for some reason; I’ve had that happen with other podcasts from time to time.
