Tools, The Universal Language

This may be my favorite picture of a work area yet: reader Hmboo has stuffed his workbench into a space the size of a small bathroom. As he puts it, “My tools became close,” and he’s not kidding — this dude has more tools crammed in this little space than some guys have in their shops period.
I may not be able to read all his descriptions of his photos — but just as people say mathematics is a universal language, I would say tools are, too. You might call ’em by different names than ‘hammer’ or ‘driver’ but these tools are a common constant no matter what language you speak.
Also, I dig the Buell sign he’s got pinned up in the back.

Stu is a master of small spaces and it seems to increase his creativity. Let’s hope he posts some photographs of his new i Carver.
If my wife complains about my shop all I have to do is show her this picture. Thanks to Stu and the others you help give me a break.
