It’s Just Cool: Wooden Toy Tank

Tanks and woodworking don’t really go together for most folks, but to me they’re like chocolate and peanut butter. I found this toy coin bank at Time Machine Toys. It’s made up to look like what I’m guessing is a British Mark IV Male WWI-era tank –- and it brought a smile to my face.
True, it may sport a few too many guns, but that just adds to the overall charm of the thing. The metalwork tracks are sweet, and judging from the condition of the finish, someone took care of this toy over the years and never mistreated it.
I definitely see something like this in my future toy-making plans.

Actually, that’s the right number of guns–two 6-inchers on the sides, and a couple of Hotchkiss MGs in the front.
So where do you put the batteries? 😉
Like Sean O’hara, my comment is not close to Woodworking, but, all searches to date have failed. I have a toy wind-up WW1 Tank. Clearly marked “Yankee Tank, Wolverine Supply @Mfg. Co., Pittsburg Pa.” I can’t find details of origin, value etc. A lead would be greatly appreciated.
