Any arborist worth his or her salt will tell you that only trimming the branch tips on your shrub without thinning it out isn’t healthy, because light can’t reach the inside.  Even so, sometimes you might want to just even out the surface, to make it look nice and neat — but then you’re left with a big mess of clippings to pick up.  According to its makers, the Garden Groom collects its own clippings, so you don’t have to.

Designed for comfortable two-hand operation, the Garden Groom shreds clippings, reducing the amount of space they take up by 10 times, and vacuums them into a collection bag.  The on-board bag holds 50 square feet of clippings while the large-volume collection bag holds 500 square feet.

Constructed from high-impact plastic, the Garden Groom weighs only 6 pounds.  The high-quality stainless steel blades never need sharpening, and they’re concealed for safety and so you can’t accidentally cut the cord.

Look to pay about $150 for the Garden Groom, or as they say on TV, “just three easy payments of $49.99!”

sorry look like more trouble than a rake.Me i just use my bagging lawn mower
and the bag on that looks so small i would have to empty it every bush and safety glasses but no shoes looks like a good way to get hurt ether being shocked with electricity or dropping something

  5. You know, one of the first things I noticed when I resized the picture was that it looked like the woman was in socks. Then I thought, nah, that’d be pretty stupid, it looks like its wet in the picture, maybe she’s wearing a slip-on shoe of some sort. But you know it really looks like she’s wearing socks.

That said, why are we looking at her feet?
