    Having had years of experience with Boy Scouts who were somewhat heavy-handed in their use of tools – we found that most Osborne tools held up pretty well. This rotary punch (similar to one made by Sargent) was not one of them. We switched over to a heavy duty Tandy 1794 – which has been replaced by

    I always back up with a leather scrap so the punch can fully penetrate the work.
