My dad always asked me, “Why are you looking for a solution when there was never a problem in the first place?” Many companies tackle tool “problems” by re-inventing products — some of their solutions end up being useless, and some end up being revolutionary. But whether it’s useless or revolutionary, one thing’s for sure: the Worx Rolabit drill and driver bit dispenser looks like granny’s recipe rolodex on steroids.

The Rolabit kit includes 100 drill bits, screwdriver bits, and other accessories including countersinks and nutsetters. The rotary organizer takes up minimal bench space, or you can mount it on the wall. The Rolabit spreads the bits out nicely between eight removable cassettes. When you need a certain bit, just flip through the cassettes until you find the right one — so, for example, if you need to drill through some tile, just slide out the masonry drill bit cassette, and you’re on your way.

Street pricing is about $45. If you already own this product, tell us what you think in comments.

It’s like fishing lures: The first catch the lure has to make is the fisherman.

A solution in search of a problem indeed. This thing takes up more space than many more drill and driver bits in regular index cases would.
