Learning how to weld can be a bit intimidating for some, but the best way to learn is to study with folks who know how to teach it. The Lincoln Electric Welding School in Cleveland has been doing just that since 1917 — if you want to sign up, they’ve just announced the 2008 schedule.

Courses are scheduled for May through December 2008 — the classes cover everything from Basic Plate and Sheet Metal to Advanced Submerged Arc Welding. So virtually any welder, from beginner to pro, can find something handy to increase their gray matter. Lincoln also adds that classes fill up quickly, so you need to register soon if you want to get in. Check out their site for details.
