(Sunday, March 16th, 2008) A new Ax Men reminds us all how much our jobs don’t suck. We had a long talk with our neighbor, a retired logger, who thinks the show is highly realistic even if they don’t show some of the safety violations an average crew engages in, like riding the choker back to the landing. In case you think logging isn’t that hazardous, our neighbor retired because a limb skewered him through his lung, almost killing him on the spot. The 2 hour ride in the back of a truck to the hospital wasn’t fun either…
