To celebrate their upcoming 25th anniversary Leatherman is releasing a special edition of the Charge multi-tool, one of their top products. Leatherman makes many versions of the Charge family of multi-tools, with slight tool variations and aluminum or titanium handles. This special edition, however, will be hand-crafted from sterling silver!

Along with a $500 pricetag, the special edition Charge comes with a wood and glass display box and what appears to be a standard tool assortment. We find the notion of a $500 sterling silver multi-tool ridiculous, but the Leatherman Charge is definitely still a great tool. If you don’t have $500 but still want a Charge, the ALX or TTI versions sell for about $100 and are sometimes on sale for much less.

Will they fix or replace this under warranty? My CORE™ is on it’s fourth life.
