  1. Knives seem like one of those things I’d rather not go cheap on. I’ll gladly pay $50 to $100 for a pocket knife I know won’t close on me, will take an edge an stay sharp, and has good ergonomics. Spyderco, benchmade, kershaw, etc…

Granted, for $20 I wouldn’t feel guilty using it as a pry bar, but you might as well just carry a cheap pry bar and a good knife.

  2. Old Donn says:

While there’s something to what Pat Austin says, a knife is a disposable asset. They get lost, stolen, misplaced, lent and not returned etc. At some point you’ve got to weigh these factors in with price. For $15 these are worth a roll of the dice. If you don’t like them, re-gift!

  3. Not Me says:

Knives are not considered disposable by everyone. Knife knuts are not likely to lose, misplace or lend their good knives easily. A good knife has many things going for it that you need to experience to appreciate. Cheap blades and good blades are not the same.

We got robbed about 4 weeks ago and got some stuff (knives, mase, blasters, etc) from these guys. Prices are about the same as Amazon. Just an FYI. You can’t be too prepared…whether here or http://www.gungearusa.com.
