Right now Amazon is offering a “4-for-3” sale on hand tools and power tool accessories. The details of the sale are relatively self-explanatory, but there are a few restrictions worth mentioning: as always, the product must be sold and shipped directly from Amazon, and it must mention the promotion on the product page.

A few products that may interest you are the Dremel Multi-Vise, Dremel Work Station, Kreg R3 Jig, and Irwin Unibits. This is just a sampling of what’s on sale: here’s the full listing of 4-for-3 eligible products. While it is not yet clear how Amazon determines which products are eligible for this promotion, it seems that qualifying products must be $45 or less.

In selecting your 4-for-3 products, remember that you’ll receive the cheapest item for free, meaning that you save the most (percentage wise) if all of your products are similarly priced. And in case you didn’t yet get your fill of router bits, the 4-for-3 deal is also stackable with Amazon’s recent 25%-off sale on router bits and accessories.

If you take advantage of this deal or just browse around, feel free to share your product selection with us!

The price limit isn’t $45. There is actually a $190 heated towel dryer that I saw on there. The list is too big, it looked like there is over 20k items. Also, the 25% off sale on router bits is no longer going on, that should be taken off. The sale for buy a tool and get 20% off one accessory is still going on though.

  2. You know what, I just saw the price categories on the left side of the page. After realizing that only 44 out of the 10k+ eligible items (less than one half percent) are above $50, I’m not surprised that I was unable to find more expensive items that qualified for the sale.

Ben is right – it seems that in the past 24 hours Amazon has axed the 25% rotuer bit sale. Still, 4 for 3 isn’t bad by itself, especially if you’re looking to buy items with fixed prices such as the Kreg R3 jig.

That is exactly what I was going to buy, the Kreg jig plus the Kreg clamp, both come in at above $40. And then two sawhorses at $35 a piece, not a bad deal at all…
