We’re sure everyone’ll admit to considering unloading that stubborn project car from the trailer the “fast way” once or twice.  This clip shows why you should forget that crap, take your time, and bring a friend.

I once bought a 1963 Jeep pickup with four frozen brake drums. Getting it on the trailer took a four-wheel drive tractor, which I didn’t have access to when it came time to take it off the trailer. I did, however, have access to two wheel dollies.

So I stuck the wheel dollies under the front two tires and backed the trailer up to the stoutest oak tree in the yard. I wrapped all my comealongs around the tree, then around the rear axle of the pickup. I then put my tow vehicle in four-wheel-drive, dropped it into gear and gunned it. The trailer came sliding out from under the pickup and surprisingly came through without a scratch.

I ended up parting out that pickup right under that oak tree.

    What happened to the video?
It’s MIA and it’s throwing off the whole page (at least in firefox – IE looks ok, but still no video)

It’s broken in my Firefox as well. My HTML is a bit rusty, but it looks like there’s an extraneous close paragraph tag in the movie object.

This is the intended video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQY9lUehPKs&eurl=
