Preview: Stanley-Proto’s Updated Master Tool Sets

Stanley Proto announced yesterday an update to their “master tool sets for the trades.” By the way: did you know that Proto made master tool sets for electricians, plumbers, and contractors? They do, and now they come with some of Stanley’s recently-upgraded hand tools, like the FatMax AntiVibe hammer, tripod flashlights, and their new wood chisels.
Other additions include Stanley’s instant-change utility knives, torpedo levels, and wrenches. In all, Proto’s added six tools to the electrician’s set, nine tools to the contractor’s set, and a whopping 14 tools to the plumber’s set. They all now ship in a 1200×1200 denier poly bag with injected-polypropylene bottom — which you’ve already seen if you’re a Stanley tote fan.
Proto says this is the beginning of a total overhaul of their “master” sets, which range all the way up to their 1,258-piece “Master Technician Maintenance” set.
