This $59 tool is a roller that bolts onto the back of your push mower to crush grass, generating the “striping” effect you see on baseball fields and golf courses. The good news: it’s easy to install, and the stripes look cool. The bad news: the stripes only last a short time, and if you don’t mow perfectly straight, everyone will know. Of course, I don’t imagine straight mowing will be a problem for this tool’s fully-anal target market.
The striping does look cool, though. And I’d bet you could build yourself one of these out of some pipe and spare parts with a little time and welding. Check out the company’s direct-sale website for lots more information and tons of pictures.
