It’s Just Cool: A V8-Powered Margarita Machine

TM reader Clyde tipped us off to this wonderful display of massive mechanical overkill. From SCA Scot’s comments on this photo, which he posted to Flickr:
“So, when you’ve got a small-block 400, a trailer, assorted parts, and the ability to custom fabricate a six-inch-tall replica of a blender blade out of stainless steel, what do you do with your spare time? Make the world’s fastest margarita machine. Add six bags of ice and 18 bottles of ready-to-drink margarita mix, turn the ignition, and rev the engine for 10 to 20 seconds. Open valve and enjoy.”
Wow. Looking at those headers and shorties, I’d imagine it probably qualifies as the world’s loudest margarita machine, too.. Don’t miss those sweet hubcaps on the trailer wheels; it’s the little things that make it all the difference.

Oh good grief!!! That’s pretty scary, actually – just the thought of needing that amount of margarita in that short of time!!
Holy Hell! That’s just *so* wrong it’s WAY RIGHTEOUS! That thing has a better motor than any car I own… ;-(
I note the creator used the trailer frame rails for a radiator. Ingenious.
Oh, and I recommend a shield or safety loop for that direct-drive shaft!
Pretty much the polar opposite of the Juice Peddler’s “Bike Blender”. I can appreciate both, though, and would happily enjoy a smoothie from either!
