TM reader and photo pool member Litcritter posted this photo of his most recent project: an entertainment bench constructed of plywood and designed to fit under a window and hold electronics gear.  What caught our eye was the way the euro-retro design makes the exposed ply seem right at home — the mark of a true craftsman on a budget.

Hopefully he’ll find time to stop by and tell us a little more about it — and post the addition pictures of the finished product as he promises in the photo’s comments!

If you get a chance, sign up with Flickr, join the Toolmonger group, and add any photos you have of your projects, tools, or shop.  We love to see ’em, and we (like you) keep an eye on the center column of the TM page for the latest photos.

Slap on a honey-gold stain, and you have exactly the entertainment bench that my parents’ had in the 60’s! Nice work, nice retro look.
