I thought it worth mentioning that when I was checking Amazon pricing for the last post I came across some pretty good deals on the Bosch PS-20 Pocket Driver.  If you’re in the market for one, Amazon has them for $118 new, and factory reconditioned models run just $100 — about $10 off the new price and $25 off for reconditioned.

And if you want to know more about it, be sure to check out our hands-on from a while back.  I also wrote about it for Popular Science when we selected as one of the Best Of What’s New winners for 2006 in the Home Tech category.  (Follow that link to see the BOWN 2006 writeup as well as a video of our friend Joe Brown — whom you can hear on a number of Tool Talk podcasts — with the PS-20.)

I also bought one, if that says anything.

One Response to Dealmonger: PS20s For $118 New/$100 Reconditioned

That’s a good deal. I would be sorely tempted, if I hadn’t already pulled the trigger.

I like this tool a lot. It has great ergo dynamics. Didn’t someone here say it felt like a Glock in their hands? Just enough weight to feel “right”, but not too much so that it feels unbalanced if you use it upside down.
