I honestly hadn’t thought of hanging cordless drills or such in the shop.  I’ve always kept mine in a drawer, but it’d be nice to have the drawer back for other purposes.

This slick hanger is available all over online.  Pricing starts around $4.

Also known as the “big lugg” from Duluth Trading, and doubtless other incarnations.

I’ve never thought of using it in the shop. I use mine on my toolbelt (or when I’m toolbelt-less, on my jeans). Very handy when you’re on a ladder.

I just used mine to keep my knees free for rehanging those kitchen cabinet doors. Another great tip for that job is to wear a tape measure on your off side that has a magnetic hook. Put the screws for the next door on the magnet. Then you can hold the door in the hole with (what else) your head, reach to one side and get the gun, the other to get the screws. Works better than holding them in your mouth. I quit doing that after I almost swallered one.
