In these final days before the big day — it’s this Sunday, remember? — we offer this quick rundown of some places you might look for that last-minute gift:
- Sears’ outlet: Though Sears continues to run sales on all Craftsman tools until this weekend, if those sale prices are still out of your range, conisder checking out Sears’ outlet via Sears.com. It’s probably too late to win auction items, but clearance items are available coast-to-coast and the closeout center’ll tell you what items are available specfically near you.
- Eastwood Co.: They’re still offering 10% off just about everything in the online store. Yeah, it’s probably too late to ship, but if you’re buying a larger gift, Dad won’t mind waiting.
- Lowes/Home Depot: Both big-box stores are offering free parcel shipping on items over $49, and both are featuring location-specific in store sales until the weekend.
- Enco: This online/catalog retailer has some sale offers this week, including our favorite, the 27th Edition Machinery’s Handbook (starting at $65, pictured at right). What an incredibly cool book; it should be on every toolaholic’s bookshelf. (Or in their toolboxes.)
And, of course, keep checking back with us as we’ll have more Father’s Day finds right up until the day itself. Of course, if you’ve already found the greatest gift ever and would like to share your find with the rest of us, drop us a line.
