But you don’t need to buy the Forrest to get these shims; you can buy them separately and they’ll stay stuck to just about any steel blade or chipper.
Besides losing shims, there are a few reasons you’d want to buy magnetic shims: you’ve bent or mutilated your old ones and they need replacing, or you’re sick of dropping them into the bowels of your table saw and having to dig them out.

I don’t know anything about these shims, but I can say that I have used their ten inch table saw blades for 15 years and they are dead on. No sanding required. They are the absolute best. sd

Can’t you just magnetize the shims (or the blade) that you’ve already got?
