It’s Just Cool: Folding Chairs

Fast Company recently had an interesting item about folding chairs. To my eye, two of them stood out. The first, shown above, by Christian Desile, is made from bamboo and recycled PET. One hundred of these folded flat will fit in a two-meter stack.
The second, shown below, by Eric Ku, is made of five pieces that spell out — duh! — chair.

There are other interesting chairs in the post, including one from laser-cut foam that is supposed to support the weight using “constant tension,” and another, made from a sheet of plastic, that folds up into a large briefcase-sized package.
