		<description>I used min-wax red oak stain, then topped it with  "Varathane Diamond Polyurethane Interior Water Based" available in Clear Gloss, Clear Semi-Gloss, and Clear Satin. (lowes) this is gloss. Its pricey but I like it. 

I have had good luck,wet sanding between multiple coats and and brushing it on.</description>
