Put Norm Back Together Again

By Sean O'Hara

I love watching New Yankee Workshop. It’s one of my favorite shows that I pull off the Tivo every weekend. I don’t think I’ve ever had the burning urge to put together a Norm Abrams Jigsaw puzzle before, but apparently now you can.

A limited run of signature series 357 piece 12” x 18” jigsaw puzzles depicting the bearded, flannel-wearing craftsman are available through the New Yankee Workshop site for $20 plus shipping.

It’s a bit on the high end for a small puzzle, but the Norm hounds out there will no doubt be excited. Now if it was a puzzle of his shop with all the various tools lying about, I might be into it.

Sean- This is awesome, great find!

What would be great for Norm fans is a “what are the differences between these two pictures” panoramic photo of his shop. It could be so detailed it might include the difference between a 3/8″ (in one photo) and 1/2″ chisel (in the other photo) on a bench.

Picked up two… one for myself (armchair woodworker) and one for a buddy (great amateur woodworker)

My buddy spends lots of his free time up in Vermont at a cabin that he and his wife built, w/ the switch to DTV he lost the ability to watch the one, snowy, channel that was available, a local PBS station… maybe this will help fill in the gap! :-P
