Get Your Bins Off The Floor
By Benjamen Johnson
Create more space in your garage, shop, basement, or other room by getting your bins off the floor and hanging them on the wall with the Enviro Stacker.
The Enviro Stacker mounts on walls built with 16″ on-center studs using just a screwdriver and a level. Each 11-1/2″ by 18″ ABS/polycarbonate bracket will hold up to 50lbs.

To accommodate many different types of bins, the top of the Enviro Stacker has been molded so the reinforcing ribs of different bins will fit into one of the many slots. The bin still might hang off-centered, but that’s OK as long as its center of gravity is still on the bracket.
Made in Canada, one Enviro Stacker runs $9 at Lee Valley Tools.

I don’t mean to be a jerk about this, but, why can’t you just use a piece of 1/2″ or 3/4″ plywood with some kerfs cut into it?

@Rick - I was thinking the exact same thing.

If we just use some 1/2″ or 3/4″ plywood with some kerfs cut into it then nobody would spend the $9 on the stupid piece of plastic and all the R&D effort would be wasted.

Hey! They put “enviro” in the name to make everyone think there is something environmentally wonderful about this thing. How could you not want to be environmentally supportive?

Surprising as it sounds I have 3 neighbors around me who lack the materials, tools and abilities to make these themselves- and I’m not doing it for them for 9 bucks a piece! So, I guess there might be a market for these.

I actually think this pretty cool. Yeah you can cut some wood and make one yourself, but i am in time management mode. This takes the time factor out of figuring it out and building one myself. I can just buy it and install it. My bins are stacked and they tend to tip over, but I have lots of room near the top of my garage and storage space, so this works pretty good
