Dealmonger: Channellock 8″ Snap Ring Pliers $19

Northern Tool is selling these Channellock 8″ Snap Ring Pliers for only $19.  The tool comes with five pairs of interchangeable tips, and you can convert it so it works with inside or outside retaining rings by sliding a tab on the tool.

    These are identical to the Blue Point snap ring pliers i just bought, for almost double the price.

    Anyone know where to get replacement tip inserts for these? The snap ring plier body lasts forever, but the tips don’t seem to.

    I bought this same set t home depot for about the same price. I know sears sells the tips because I bought new tips for my old pliers and promptly broke them and needed a new set which I why I bought these channellock ones.
