I’ve got a couple Bessey strap clamps. They look nothing like these.
Try this:

We use a lot of Bessey clamps but for light-duty strap clamps we like the Wolfcraft:

What I forgot to say was that for heavy-duty applications the Jorgensen 6200 is a good choice:

FYI
We have 6 HD Jorgensen 6200 canvas strap clamps that are at least 20 years old. I took a look at replacement cost - and nearly had a coronary - 6 new ones might set us back over $2500 !

Fred, do I understand you correctly that you have some strap clamps that would cost over $400 *each* to replace?
What is the strap made out of, gold-plated Kevlar cloth? How in the hell does anyone justify charging that much for a strap clamp? I’m genuinely curious to know why those clamps would be worth anywhere near that amount of money.

Chris:
My apologies - I may have been looking at carton prices (6 each for about $460) - see them again here :

We have 25 footers - maybe $100 apiece would be a modern price - although we may have paid something like that in total for the 6 that we bought 20-25 years ago.
