    While you wouldn’t think a GC/Woodworking/Plumbing set of companies would use a slide hammer much – leaving that tool to the auto body shop – but over the years we have found considerable use for our old Morgan Knockers. I think the first one we got had a bit of a risqué (woman’s torso) slide weight shape – but the newer one we bought is more of a dumbbell shape. At about 9 pounds the hammer has enough heft to pull plugs out of walls etc. We’ve also rigged it to pull casement windows out of masonry openings with minimal damage.

    A real handy tool.
