It’s Just Cool: Tractor Drifting
By Sean O'HaraDrifters like to think they’re on the fringe of the Mainstream, fighting to stick it to the man and legitimize their sport. These folks who can rip around a corner sideways in their Honda Civics, we’d like to see ‘em try their hand at negotiating this bruiser through a turn.
It’s not the same, of course, but just wait. A short time from now you’re going to start seeing timed tractor-drifting events — and then, quietly, a league will pop up and rednecks will be getting sponsorship deals.

Being FWD, a Civic does not make for a proper drift car. Just sayin.

Actually they use civics thye just modify them for rear drive… really easy to do with transaxle………..
Even better a Suby with no front or limited front drive

why bother with a civic when you can use an old celica gts, nissan *silvia* (240) or other rear-wheel car that doesn’t require such pain in modding??
just asking…

Wow, using the independent rear breaks on a tractor to slide in the mud. hardly exciting, hard difficult, hardly cool. way to give an idiot some face time.

With implements down, can’t be done. With the back blade up and a couple inches of ice on the road when you’re plowing snow, can hardly be avoided. Even with chains on and tires loaded with calcium.
