Getting the correct pressure in your tires normally takes a few rounds of swapping between chuck, pressure gauge, and sometimes the pin on the back of the gauge to let out air because you added too much. With an all-in-one inflator like this tool from Campbell Hausfeld, just clip the chuck on the stem and read the tire pressure — then squeeze the trigger to start adding air, or release some pressure with the relief valve.
Campbell Hausfeld mounts the chuck on a length of air hose to make it easy to reach awkwardly placed stems. The pressure gauge reads between 10 and 100 PSI, which should be adequate for most home applications.
This model retails for $28, but you can find it for less than $20 if you look around.

Amflo has one along similar lines. It has a straight on chuck, much better for the inside wheels on duallies.

not similar. the one shown will clamp on. you adjust the pressure and then release. i used to use the that amflo style but found them to be not accurate enough for car tire pressures.
I have been using this inflator for 2 years. Just changed out the chuck for a QD and use any chuck I need. Love this thing. But been looking for a digital gauge to fit, though.
I just bought one of these from walmart for $14.88. It came with a straight on chuck that has a spring loaded clamp.

I’ve found mine to be remarkably accurate, with in 1 psi as checked against both a VDO gauge and a Groits digital gauge. You do have to have a good eye for it though.

Where do you get the idea that we only post new tools? We post new tools, tools we like, tools that have been around for a long time that we’ve personally discovered, tools on sale, tools to get you thinking, etc. We like talking about tools…
Take this post for instance. Why did I post this. I have been procrastinating checking my vehicles tire pressure for months because where I live it’s been below zero for half the month and I didn’t look forward to going out and doing this mundane task. So I looked for something that would make the job go faster and maybe get me excited about it like trying a new (to me) tool.
If you expect only new tools, well then maybe you’ve got the wrong site.
I have a couple cheapies from HF like this. The quality is terrible so I have been looking for a better one. I have looked at Griot’s garage but can’t stomach the prices.

where can i get that Clip-design-hose for my air-gun. I have the same handle, just want the hose with the clip.

I just picked one up at Menards in the air tool section. If you’re not in the upper Midwest though, I’m betting Northern or other stores that have a bunch of air tools probably have them.
This is a great idea that has been around for a while ang works great, but two of my favorite inflating tools are my craftsman corless inflator that is great for smaller tires and has a built in digital pressure gauge. The second tool is my craftsman digital tire gauge, it measures in 1/10 of a psi which is great for testing leaking tires to see if you fixed the leak or not
