Northern Tool is selling this drive chain breaker for $10.  A drive chain breaker (or roller chain breaker) helps you remove the pin that holds the links of roller chain together — much easier than using a pin punch!

    The reviews on the product are not favorable at northern tool.

    We have only 1 piece of equipment (a conveyor-loader) that uses roller chain – but lots of chain saws. We’ve found that the Granberg Break-N-Mend:

    works well on chain saw– but never have needed to use it elsewhere. The Norther tool offering seems to have gotten bad reviews from people who tried to use it for chainsaw chain – rather than for its intended purpose for roller chain
