Just slid a tack on the tip,   pull your ffabric tight and  "WHAMO'  a tack is in.
It is easier than a Staple gun unless you have one of these nifty pneumatic ones. Also you cna easily holster this in your tool belt when using both hands to pull and fold material</description>
