		<description>my daughter lives in Houston and that is their set up. Hotwater heater with a pan underneath. Furnace is also located in the attic.

Neat concept put I like mine in the garage not over my head.</description>

		<description>How come the people with the water heaters in the attic don't put a simple flood pan with an external drain pipe under it?   It's the best of both worlds, using dead space, with no risk of a wet head. 

My company has huge water tanks, water heaters, humidifiers, etc... as high as the 79th floor!  8^)</description>
