I have one of these blades mounted on a 7 1/4" compound slide miter saw, and it works great on solid red oak and plywood. You can also mount it on a 10" table saw for some excellent cuts in plywood and crosscutting 3/4" solid stock. It has very little tear out in softwoods. It's a great value for the money, and is currently about $13.95 at Lowe's.
