Dealmonger: Martin Adjustable Pin Spanner $22
By Nick Carter
Alexandria General Supply is selling the Martin adjustable pin spanner for $22.05, the best price we found. Pin spanners work on threaded locknuts and other machine components that have pin holes around the periphery for tightening and loosening, rather than flats or hexagons for wrenches. This one sports a 3/16″ diameter pin, and it adjusts to handle collars from 3/4″ to 2″.

Martin Sprocket and Gear make good tools - I think still in the uSA.
We use mostly hook spanners for plumbing - and have mix and match sets of Williams and Martin tools on every truck.

Have a set of Proto hook spanners that I bought for some locking collars on a water system. Got them from Grainger, where they’re listed for 30-50 bucks a piece, depending on size, for hook or pin spanners. Nice thing is lifetime warranty on proto. Im not familiar if martin has same or not.
