I picked up two WM125 Workmates for twenty bucks a pice at Marshalls or some such place recently. That was a deal.

I've noticed that the wood portions are now made out of Bamboo plywood. I don't know if that represents a reduction in quality but it's certainly a Greener material. It certainly seems solid enough.

This isn"t much of a deal when the same item is listed for $59.97 at Lowe's.

Bah. I got a cheap one at Harbor freight for $11. Sure, it probably won't hold 450 lbs, but what do most of us really use it for? Holding a piece of lumber while we cut or drill it or put nails/screws in it, and thats about it. I can buy 4 more for the same price and just throw out one when it breaks.
