looks like a boutique option. What I can’t stand is that american automaker companies act like making a diesel engine is so much more expensive when all they need to do is make them more available to improve the economy of scale and preferably in 5 or 6 cylinder (3.5-4 liter capacity turbo diesel models. When we see a turbo diesel hybrid then I’ll consider it. The MD/Dodge Sprinter gets somewhere around 25mpg, I doubt the silverado can match that…
where are the small and mid-size trucks with high efficiency turbo-diesel engines?

Regulated out of USA, particulate emissions (way to go EPA) Go look in the rest of the world. Toyota makes an awesome little diesel.
