When it gets to be paint time, have a look at what this guy did with a *roller*, some Rust Oleum and a lot of diligence

Not bad, and very durable

I had an '89 K1500 longbed with the 5.7L gas. Sold it for $4200 about a year ago. It was cherry, though. 60K miles. Your best friend for parts is LMC Truck. They have every part for that truck from bumper to bumper - without all the JC Whitney crap.

I'd almost, almost bet a paycheck that there is a J.C. Whitney catalog in Sean's bathroom library.

I just got an old 90' bronco, the clearcoats gone t-case is broken but engine is okay, one leak that can be fixed without pulling it. interior is missing some trim panels needs brake work and a few other things.

Nice, glad to see I'm not the only one who recently acquired a nasty old pickup. Just got a '94 Toyota Pickup 4WD (with bad paint, bad O2 sensor).

Awesome, as a recent proud owner of a 92 Dakota V8 which has similar issues with it's interior this should serve as an inspiration to get my truck looking half decent. Mine sports a cheap Earl-Scheib paint job so it looks fine from 10ft away, also features low oil pressure, always-on ATF drip and occasional rpm hunting. Despite all this I love the size, towing capacity and brawn of this truck, it's also easy to live with on a semi daily basis as opposed to today's 3/4 ton trucks...I thought the titan was HUGE when it first came out, now it looks puny next to the new Tundra and the domestic 3/4 trucks.

Those older Chevy/GMCs are great platforms to work with... and they are available for next to nothing...

As the proud new owner of a 93 Nissan pickup, I'm interested to see what you can get things done for.

Oh no you don't! The last time I commented on a truck blog, my fellow mongers smoked me. Good luck on the build. The up side about Texas is winter won't slow the progress.
