Well for setting cabinets these would be handy, since normally you are just making holes for stub outs. And I can see where the lock set might come in handy as I like to cut half way through, then finish from the other side for a smooth cut, and the arbor bit serves as a guide when it pokes out.

I second the Selfeed bits. when I worked on a crew blowing insulation into old houses we always used Milwaukee Selfeed bits to drill the holes under the siding, definitely more expensive but much faster and cleaner (and no plugs to dislodge). I would imagine any serious plumber or electrician would have a heavy duty right angle drill with a set of Selfeed bits.

For the average homeowner I guess this would be a good deal for a set. But unless they drill a lot of big holes its probably cheaper just to collect a set piece by piece the one time every couple of years that they need one.

Sounds like a great price for the homeowner who wants a small set.

For our commercial/residential plumbing work we mostly use Selfeed bits made by Milwaukee or Greenlee. They cut much faster, reuire much less feed pressure, have virtually no depth restriction and do not clog up like holesaws.
When we need to use holesaws for cutting through feber-cement siding - we have made the Bosch carbide-tipped saws out standard.
