		<description>I've seen some explanations go along the lines of ... if you let it slip it can hit you and cause a "Hickey."

I'm partial to the name coming from the often repeated work site phrase, "Hey Bob!  Hand me that rebar bending doohickey, would ya?"</description>

		<description>Does anyone know where the term “Hickey” came from? Was there/is there a company named Hickey  that became prominent in the manufacture of conduit benders and the brand name stuck to all pretenders like the brand name Coke as we used to apply to all soft drinks.</description>
