But it does work as advertised and does solve a fairly common problem. There's obviously some other ways to solve this issue but B&D did a good job with this one. Since the tape is on the top of the level it's easy to make marks exactly where the holes, hangers are. I'm not sure lining the targets up would be as accurate.
